Post Office data accounts: What if?

It shouldn't be hard, yet, to digitize the Post Office.  By so doing it would mean to bring them into the discourse of the 21st century.  If the Post Office opened up digital data storage accounts for every resident and citizen of the United States of America that would greatly go to more accessibility to information for the general public.  These accounts could host important files and documents under encrypted security -- for the convenience, expedience, and perfect felicity of the public.  

There are several ways to do this and I trust that the best one can be found.  Certainly there exist the security protocols to make a decent start at a program like this which would be a low cost and efficient addition to the Post Office structure.
